There are a number of great tools available to help you prepare for the exam, so it can be tough to work out which resources are right for you. What works for you is going to be personal preference, but here is a bit more about our course and what else is out there.

Our NPE courses are designed to take you through all the information in the curriculum document AHPRA has put together, going through each point to give you foundational knowledge and highlight the key elements that are likely to show up on the exam.

 

This course is best used by also engaging with other tools such as creating flashcards or sitting practice exams, as the breadth of information required in the exam is large and repeatedly engaging with the information is important. These courses are perfect for building upon the knowledge you have gained through your clinical work and university studies, with an aim to build you confidence before you head to the exam.

Our resources aren't the only ones available, and you should absolutely check out other sites to make sure you're signing up for study material that works for you. The approach to the content will be different, whether it's delivered online, text or video, on a schedule, self-paced, etc. Each course/resource will have its pros and cons for you so do your research or sign up to multiple if that feels right for you!

For example, you might:

• Work through a NPE study course

• Sit practice exams

• Read NPE preparation textbooks

• Work through the suggested reading list

• Create or buy flashcards

• and whatever else works for you!
